at Nextdoor – artsy, quirky stays for social travellers
Timings: 4pm to 12am, 6 days a week
Salary: 27,500 – 33,000 NPR per month + event bonuses + benefits

We are immediately looking for a GUEST EXPERIENCES SUPERVISOR (SOCIAL EVENTS) at Nextdoor. We operate two locations—Nextdoor Patan (Kupondole) and Nextdoor Kathmandu (Ratopul)—and we’re building a long-term, immersive approach to youth travel and cultural hospitality.
This role is all about creating a welcoming and social atmosphere in the evenings. You’ll organize casual, engaging activities like game nights, food walks, live music outings, or short trips—anything that brings people together and helps them connect with the place.
We are looking for a minimum commitment of 2 years, with a clear growth path into long-term careers in immersive travel and hospitality.
Remuneration:
- Monthly salary range: NPR 27,500–33,000
- Communication and meal stipend
- Transportation stipend (as needed)
- Event bonuses (up to 15% of revenue from unique activities)
- Annual salary review

HOW TO STAND OUT IN YOUR APPLICATION:

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Execute all Front Desk processes and assist with guest check-ins

Know your guest needs and understand their perspectives towards hostel services
- Plan and lead evening group activities like game nights and local outings
- Lead outdoor trips such as sunrise hikes, adventure sports, and farmstays
- Coordinate with the front desk and restaurant team to support evening routines
- Share local knowledge and help guests explore offbeat areas of Kathmandu valley
- Create social media updates to highlight guest activities

Ensure all Nextdoor events are inclusive and safe

Identify new activities and coordinate event logistics

Collaborate with managers to develop strategies for better guest experiences
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

At least 3 years of hospitality/service experience

Passion for travel, culture, and your city

Confidence in hosting and connecting with international guests

Awareness of social media and guest feedback platforms
